Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo

I have returned to Denmark from Berlin. I will in this post tell a few things from the trip, and in some days, pictures from the trip will be uploaded. For now I can only present one picture, while I at this moment do not have the software to transfer the pictures from my mobile phone to the computer. However, I have discovered how to send a photo with a MMS to my email-address, but it is a bit to slow and expensive. That is why I am only presenting this picture now.

I arrived at Berlin Saturday afternoon with Emil and Verena (the sister of Galene) who had driven the car. The hotel was not luxurious, but it was what we had ordered. As a bonus the hotel was located in a pretty gustent neighbourhood with everything: elevated railway and bars which invited to more than just drinking and dancing. (Invitations we did not follow) A very interesting neighbourhood to explore as an urban planner.
We had not planned anything specific when we left Denmark, but we experienced quite a few things anyway and I found the yield of the trip satisfactory. We looked at the city and the monuments when we ran into them and we spent quite some time being trendy with the yuppies on some cafés and a single bierstaube. My favourite place in Berlin was this time The Potzdamer Platz, a rather large urban area, which after the reunion has been redeveloped, and today is one of the most important centres of the city. The picture above is from Potzdamer Platz.
Monday night we were invited to an outdoor chill-out place in Kreuzberg by Galene. Here we had the opportunity to taste some German beers. It was an interesting andcozyy place. I don't know the exact location, since we were drawn a long way through the city, possibly to make sure that we did not knew where this oasis was located.
Tuesday noon webenefitedd from Galene again when she got us past a long queue in front of Der Bundestag. In the Bundestag we had a more or less interesting lecture by Kilian Jäger. Afterwards we mounted the dome by the twisted ramps, and could enjoy both the view and the architecture. The view was, however, not as fascinating as the one we had had from the Fernsehturm at Alexanderplatz to days before.
Tuesday night at 9.45 pm wgrabbeded the bus from Zentrale Omnibus Bahnhof and after a long bus ride with a short intermezzo at the ferry at the Fehmarn Belt we landed in Copenhagen with the sun. The bus ride from Copenhagen to Århus ended the trip.
In a few days more pictures and comments on the trip will be posted.
